Life’s Touch Cottage Ministries

LTCM was incorporated in the State of Texas, of the United States of America on September 8, 1992. It has also been incorporated under the Corporate Affairs Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria; Companies and Allied matters Decree no. 1, 1990. It was designed to become international organization to reach the people of Nigeria and surrounding countries of Africa for the cause of Christianity.

From inception

From inception of Life’s Touch Cottage Ministry over 30 years, our “vision of excellence” and motto “touching hearts, changing lives” have been characterized by quantifiable achievements which confirm the approval, the presence and the blessings of God on this divine assignment.

In addition to the remarkable achievements is the school sector where some of our graduates have become outstanding in their respective disciplines based on the solid spiritual and socio-academic foundation laid at Life’s Touch Nursery and Primary School Basin, Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria. A higher vision of upgrading the school to the junior secondary (High) school came to effect in the year 2014. The ultimate goal of this development is to eventually raise the academic level of the school to terminate at the apex of the Nigerian secondary school education which is senior secondary school 3 (12th grade).

Outside the formal school setting, Life’s Touch has embarked on many evangelistic missions to some rural areas with the sole aim of taking the message of Christ to the unreached and neglected rural populace in the preaching and teaching of the Word and the provision of certain essentials of life, such as food, clothing, water wells, medicals and settling of sundry bills among others.

As we reflect on these milestone achievements and return all the glory to God, we are equally reminded of the saying, “the reward of good work is more work”. As we labor to establish the communities we have reached, the admiration of their neighbors has elicited Macedonian calls for similar good gestures in their own communities as well. This is a reality we cannot ignore.

Like our great Apostle Paul who said “by the grace of God I am what I am”, our testimony over these years of Life’s Touch Ministry in Nigeria and other West African countries is not different, through the help of the Almighty and the usually prompt response of our helpers, partners, friends, parents, staff, pupils and graduates of our school who overtly express great admiration for their Alma-Mater, the vision and mission of Life’s Touch are being realized to the glory of Him who sent us.

Purpose Statement

Life’s Touch is an interdenominational Christian ministry designed to bring the living touch of hope of Jesus Christ to hopeless people in the African Nation of Nigeria and other African countries.

How it works

Using volunteer help from Nigeria, Life’s Touch will train community leaders to provide expert’s consultation in preventive medicine, modern agricultural methods, adult education, family counseling, childhood care and education, with an emphasis on teaching the Christian faith. Life’s Touch will help each community to determine the specific needs to be addressed.

It is our purpose to address and help meet physical and spiritual needs.

Life’s Touch Ministries will use college students as a primary volunteer work force. These student volunteers will benefit from the ministry’s study hall/learning center, which provides instruction and computers, typewriters, word processors, a photocopier and other services.
