Life’s Touch High School

About the School

Life’s Touch Schools is a ministry under Life’s Touch Cottage Ministries (LTCM), Incorporation. LTCM was incorporated in the State of Texas, of the united State of America in September 8, 1992. It has also been incorporated under the corporate Affair Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It was designed to become international organization to reach the people of Nigeria and surrounding countries of Africa for the cause of Christianity.

Since LTCM, Inc. operation include starting a school; teaching adults and children doctrines of Christianity and other subjects such as hygiene, nutrition, education, farming techniques; and as a service to the community by training Nigeria children. Therefore, Life’s Touch High School was established in October, 2014 with 12 students

The school is financially supported by charging small tuition fee to the students and has awarded scholarship to many.

The Progress of the school so far

The School commenced the operation of the High School in Basin in September 2023 and has registered 13 students at the JSS 1 and JSS 2 class respectively.

Life Touch High School has been accredited for the Junior Basic Examination for Junior Secondary School 3 (State Examination and NECO), Senior Secondary School examination (NECO) and has commenced process for WAEC accreditation.

The students have successfully sat for the Junior Basic Education Examination (NECO) and Kwara State Examination for Junior Secondary School 3. In which the school has recorded 70% success. Also, the school has also recorded 65% in her WAEC and 70% success in her NECO examination at the senior Secondary.

Furthermore, the school laboratories (Physics, Chemistry and Computer) have been equipped with more apparatus, and more books have been gotten for the school library.

The Challenges of the school

One of the challenges of the school is the transportation system. Majority of the students that follow the school bus come very late to the school because the school shares the same car with the primary school. Hence, making the transportation very stressful

Another major challenge is the issue of fence for the school. The absence of fence allowed trespassers into the premises who sometimes steal from the school.
