Life’s Touch Cottage Ministries

Life's Touch Cottage Ministry, an interdinominational Christain Ministry founded to bring the Living touch of hope of Jesus Christ to hopeless people in the African nation of Nigeria and other countries of Africa.

Education

Life's Touch Cottage Ministry has been fulfilling its mandate of influencing lives and destinies for Christ through school.

The ministry since 1997 has been touching lives of young ones through the establishment of Life's Touch Children Nursery and Primary School, Basin Ilorin, Kwara State. Through the Nursery and Primary School, the ministry has touched lives of many less privileged children through scholarships.

In 2013, the ministry established the High school in Tanke, Oke- Odo named, Life's Touch High School and together with the Nursery and Primary section, God has been helping the ministry to nurture and raise a total child through sound and scripture based academic activities.

Furthermore, in 2023, another arm of the High School was established in Basin, Ilorin and the new branch has been growing on a daily basis to the glory of God.

Welfare

The ministry is committed to the welfare of the people especially in the host country Nigeria and other Africa nations.

God has helped the ministry through friends and partners to render help and support to homes, individuals, ministries and missionaries. Some individuals were assisted with food items, clothing materials and cash gift to cushion the present economic crush the nation (Nigeria) is going through at the moment.

Some ministries and missionaries have also benefited from this kind act through cash gift, clothing materials and food items. Some communities too have been touched by the ministry with the generosity of God's blessings through the provision of source of portable water.

Evangelism

Life's Touch Cottage Ministry is a mission centered ministry doing the Father's business of reaching out to communities of some West Africa countries, preaching the good news.

Some of the visited communities are in Nigeria, Republic of Benin, Ghana and Togo. The ministry preached the gospel to the members of the communities visited and also established an avenue to follow up the new coverts. The communities visited were not only blessed with Spiritual blessings alone but were also ministered to according to their physical needs.

CHALLENGES

1. Educaton

The school needs school buses to convey learners to and from school. The ministry wishes to expand the catchment area of the school but the limitation has been the transport system to cover the existing and the proposed catchment areas.

Also, the High School premises at Tanke Oke- Odo, is exposed to intruders who entered the school compound to defecate and steal some of the school properties. A small pathways was created by the intruders in the compound giving the access to pass through the school to the neighbouring communities.

Though the management of the school has taken steps towards ending this act by reporting to the local vigilante and construction of temporary fence, the school needs a standard brick fence with gate to provide security for the school properties, learners and the teachers.

In addition, the school needs more science and games apparatus for the accreditation exercise by the West Africa Examination Council.

2. Mission Field

The ministry needs motorbikes to cover areas were bystanders cannot reach. It also needs more support for the missionaries on the mission field especially those at the northern part of Nigeria where insurgency is on the increase.

3. Welfare

The ministry needs more financial assistance to reach out to more families, individuals and ministries during the economic crush.
